The City Museum and the Hotel Pool - July 24, 2009

Marcus is so brave. He just jumps right off the side into the water! But you have to be careful, he'll jump in while you're not looking!

"Daddy, let's go again, and again, and again!!"

Marcus and Daddy were on a huge slide on top of the roof!

Does anything seem totally wrong about this? Let me tell you, it is very scary at the front of the bus because it is completely suspended over the city! Aghhhhhhh!

Entrance to the City Museum

This photo is real! There is actually a bus hanging off the roof!

If you have never taken your kids to the City Museum, you have got to go. It is SOOOO cool! I wouldn't recommend it for ages 5 and under, but it was great for Jake. There are caverns, spiral slides that go down 11 stories, caves, airplanes on top of the roof that lead to and from see through tunnels. I would have gotten pictures in those areas except our camera was too bulky (the tunnels are VERY narrow in some areas!)

The Saint Louis Zoo - July 23, 2009

Marcus loves the carousel!

He was a little wary of the goats!

This was a really neat slide the boys went down. It was carved inside a rock wall! If you have never been to the Saint Louis Zoo you have to see it. It is huge and amazingly beautiful. It is full of gorgeous plants and flowers! The landscape is awesome. There are tons of hills and rock walls. Very cool experience!!

Uh, no, I did not dress them that day to match the frogs!!

Can anyone name this animal? It looks like a cross between a zebra and donkey/mule/deer? Weird, but pretty!

Family Road Trip to Saint Louis, Missouri

As you can tell by the smily faces, the boys were ready for the six hour drive to Saint Louis, or so they thought! Marcus never napped but thanks to Nonna and Papa's Durango that we borrowed with the built in DVD player, we survived! However, by the end of the trip, we could sing all of the Thomas the train songs ever made - word for word!!

The Broken Arrow Fire Department came to the neighborhood block party to make a sprinkler out of their water hose!! It was by far the coolest sprinkler I have ever seen!!
